Thankful to be "Homeschooled"

We are now in our second year of our "new normal" lifestyle-- homeschooling. I was excited about embarking on this adventure because I was seeing some heart issues in my kids that I felt I needed to deal with and I needed more time with them to be able to do it. Then...I saw my own heart issues that I need to also deal with. I realize that I am the first one who needed to be homeschooled--first, home-schooled in the Lord,daily, as I see that apart from Him I am nothing, I cannot do anything of lasting value in my kids' lives. Second, home-schooled as I learn to relate to each of my kids here at home, being a visible example to them of how I spend my time (yes, one of the reasons I had to deactivate our Facebook account), and just enjoying this season of my life as a stay-at-home wife and Mama. I am thankful I am "homeschooled". I am thankful for God's grace poured upon my husband and me as we homeschool these three precious ones entrusted to us.~ Pam
